CFM Review- 3-Day Prep Course

CFM Exam Preparation Workshop

The CFM Exam covers the broad range of facility management duties among the eleven (11) competencies of FM. The CFM Exam Prep Workshop focuses on tools that can lead to success on the exam, techniques to perceive situations, and the importance of maintaining the right perspective.

The Silicon Valley Chapter of IFMA, and the East Bay Chapter of IFMA are jointly offering the CFM Exam Preparation workshop on September 11th, 12th and 13th. The workshop is designed to assist facility professionals seeking certification with preparation for the CFM (competency-based) examination.  This workshop will be facilitated by globally recognized IFMA certified instructor, Larry Allen Morgan, CFM,SFP,FMP, Head of Operational Excellence and Sustainability for SAP Labs in Palo Alto, California.
CFM Exam participants are expected to have, or otherwise obtain the necessary knowledge (combined with experience) of the competencies that they will be tested on the CFM Exam. This workshop provides individuals with the ability to establish a plan to take the CFM Exam, assess what level and amounts of FM knowledge they may need while attending this workshop.

Learning Objectives:
  –  Learn how to use the test taking tools that can lead to success on the CFM Exam.
–  Understand the overall concept of the exam and focus on the methodology of the exam.
–  Learn to apply critical thinking skills and discuss the rationales used.

Participants will:
  –  Review the overall methodology of the exam and practice applying FM knowledge in a competency-based exam.
–  Practice applying critical thinking skills and discuss the rationales used in practice exam questions.
–  Review exam-taking skills and strategies lead to success on the CFM Exam.
–  Learn from one of the master CFM instructors who has extensive experience and background in facilitating the CFM participant’s knowledge and valuable experience.

This three day workshop includes valuable FM Learning System materials addressing two competency areas. Deepen your understanding of these key areas, review terms and definitions, and reference information well after the exam.
