FM Roundtable Luncheon- Hospitality in the Workplace- Beyond Coffee and Tea

Please join us for a panel of insiders anchored by Rene Jackson where we will discuss what it means to provide a sense of hospitality in today’s modern workplace.  Both professionals and associates familiar with the objectives from creating a workplace that enhance the human experience to supporting corporate events, valeting conference rooms and onboarding employees so they appreciate their corporate mission and resources.  We will explore the journey, surroundings, and offerings that have become intrinsic elements of a company's narrative.  In addition, we will discuss flexibility with an awareness that circumstances will change – that a building’s context will evolve; it may be used in different ways and will need to incorporate new technologies that we cannot yet predict.

SPEAKERS:

Since joining the Microsoft account in 2009, Sara has been responsible for and has led teams in all phases of facility management in both the New York and San Francisco markets. Her passion is to connect-the-dots between people, processes and business to achieve mutual success each day for her clients and her teams.

Sara’s holistic, solution-based leadership approach is simple yet highly effective. She is also greatly skilled at developing customized strategies designed to meet real estate complex and ever-changing needs, which includes CapEx projects, program management and long-range planning.

Caroline Silver- Commercial Accounts Manager @ Pivot Interiors

At Pivot, Caroline leverages both expanded selection of furniture products like Framery modular offices or phone booths and construction design elements as well... why?   Because occupiers are demanding an interior fit that reflects their very specific company culture.   Furniture can't do it without the rest of the design derivatives. Creating an atmosphere of hospitality that is powerfully engaging is what we are after.  More than ever, we're involved early on the design process focusing on wellness and enhancing the human experience.

Tom Sprinkle, AIA at HKS

Specializing in mixed use design, hospitality, commercial space, and urban planning, Tom is the Design Director for the HKS San Francisco hospitality studio. With more than 25 years of design experience in regional, domestic and international markets, Tom is well equipped to deliver the finest design results for his clients—that sweet spot where form and function intersect with value and worth.
