ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
This presentation will be led by Dick Palomba, a former CRE with four Bay Area corporations and corporate services consultant for more than 25 years who specializes in strategic outsourcing, organizational design and RFP strategic development and contract negotiations. Richard J. Palomba

Richard (“Dick”) Palomba founded Corporate Planning Consultants, Inc. in 1984. Dick has extensive experience and management responsibilities working as an entrepreneur, co-founder of an international real estate services company, senior manager with a Fortune 100 company and numerous emerging and established high tech companies, and as principal of a strategic planning and management consulting firm. Dick has worked with more than 60 Fortune 500 companies including Google, Microsoft, Oracle, URS Corporation and Levi Strauss & Company. Extensive background in organizational development, administrative services, facilities and project management, strategic systems & financial planning, international real estate, design & construction and contract negotiations. His earlier work experience included six and a half years of administrative experience in higher education at the University of San Francisco and The University of MA at Amherst.

 Rich Etheredge
Senior Director - WorkPlace Solutions - JDSU
   Rich currently has global responsibilities for Operations within the WorkPlace Solutions organization at JDSU, a California-based high-tech telecommunications company.  Managing Facilities, Environment Health and Safety, and Security he brings a depth and breadth of global experience to JDSU.  Rich started his career in the semiconductor industry.  He has over 28 years of domestic and international facilities management experience encompassing Environment Health & Safety, Facilities Engineering, Facilities Operations, Project Management, Construction, and Security.
   Rich is a member of CoreNet and ASSE.   He earned a BSME and MSE from San Jose State University.


MATT WERNER
Senior Managing Director, Global Corporate Services San Francisco
Matt Werner designs and implements integrated real estate service solutions on behalf of corporations and healthcare institutions. He brings 18 years of experience in transforming organizations, optimizing real estate portfolios, and reducing occupancy operating costs.
     Since 2000, Matt Werner has been responsible for CBRE Global Corporate Services (“GCS”) business development in the Western United States. In this role, he has worked to develop long-term, integrated service solutions for several organizations, including Cisco, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Chevron, Union Bank, and McKesson. Matt prides himself in structuring sustainable partnerships with leading client organizations in order to achieve significant results, including cost savings, innovation, agility, global consistency, and customer satisfaction.
   Matt is a member of CORENET, and he resides in Berkeley, CA. In 2011, he was awarded the CBRE President’s Performance Award, Turnaround Award, and GCS Innovation Award.


Michael Vallenari, MCR
Vice President, Global WorkPlace Solutions
Mike has more than 20 years experience specific to helping companies find solutions for their corporate real estate challenges through portfolio solutions and outsourcing platforms.
    In addition to his experience providing outsourcing solutions working for Trammell Crow and now Johnson Controls, he has been a partner in an architectural firm and provided real estate solutions for corporate clients over a period of 8 years for two national/global development firms.
    Mike graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in business administration and marketing.  Additionally, he has earned a Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation as an active member of CoreNet Global.  Mike actively participates as a member of the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC).
    In his current role with Johnson Controls, Mike is responsible for strategic leadership and global business development with a focus on the technology vertical market for Global WorkPlace Solutions.
